I am a young journalism student and self-taught photographer living somewhere in suburban sprawl a little over an hour outside of San Francisco. I shoot and write about the things that make Earth an occasionally fun, always exciting, and often heartbreaking place to live. When asked “what I shoot” I can’t really give a straight answer. Rather than doctrinally sticking to one ‘style’ of photography, I try to capture a certain emotion or aura in all of my pictures, taking in not just the image but the feeling of a particular scene. I use my art as a means of personal expression, but I also want to take it further, using photography and journalism to inspire positive social change. I want to change the world, one photograph at a time.
